Hello, I'm Dr. Janzel(Hans) Garzon, my passion for dentistry was sparked when I was 13 years old. I remember being self-conscious about my smile due to misaligned teeth. After going through couple of years of orthodontics, I learned at a young age how having a confident smile can impact one’s life. After attending the Univeristy of South Florida where I received degrees in Biomedical Science, Psychology and History, I decided to embark on the journey of Dentistry. My dream came true last year when I received the Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree but that did not stop there. Now I am currently the only Clinical Preceptor at RSDM Department of Orthodontics. In this position, I perform the same duties as the Orthodontic Residents, such as attending to my own patients and their orthodontic needs, diagnosis, treatment planning, banding and bonding, archwire change, and debonding. I have utilized our department's new 3D printing lab to create Essix retainers from 3D prints, scanned using iTero scanners.
